On an Islamic online forum that I visited, I noticed that the women there were extremely against polygamy and stated that they would never let their husbands enter into another marriage, whether temporary or permanent. So is such behavior acceptable?
Nahjul balagha
وقال عليه السلام: غيرة المرأة كفر وغيرة الرجل إيمان
And Ali(as) said: Ghirah* of the woman is kufr and ghirah of the man is eemaan.
*Ghirah: A special sense of honor/possessiveness which makes one extremely angry if someone even tries to come close to ones spouse.
