 21-باب في من أنكر واحدا من الائمة عليهم السلام

21- Chapter in (on) whoever denied one of the Imams (as)

 

78 - سعد بن عبدالله، عن محمد بن عيسى، عن اسماعيل بن مهران عن محمد بن سعيد، عن أبان بن تغلب، قال: قلت لابي عبدالله عليه السلام: من عرف الائمة ولم يعرف الامام الذي في زمانه، أمؤمن هو؟ قال: لا، قلت: أمسلم؟ قال: مسلم

Sa'd b. Abdullah, from Muhammad b. Isa, from Ismail b. Mehran, from Muhammad b. Sa'eed, from Aban b. Tughlub, who said: I said to abi Abdullah (as): "Whoever knew the Imams (as) and (but) did not know the Imam that is in his time/age, is he a momin (believer)?" He [Imam (as)] said: "No." I said: "A Muslim?" He [Imam (as)] said: "Muslim."

 

79 - وعنه عن محمد بن عيسى، عن صفوان بن يحيى، عن ابن مسكان: عن أبي عبدالله عليه السلام، قال: من أنكر واحدا من الاحياء، فقد أنكر الاموات

And from him from Muhammad b. Isa, from Safwan b. Yahya, from ibn Muskan: From abi Abdullah (as), who said: "Whoever denied one from the living, so certainly he denied the dead."
