Does it matter if we act upon a hadith which is 'weak'?

An authentic/sahih hadith on this issue.

Al mu'atabar min ahadith al kafi

Ali b. Ibrahim, from his father, from ibn abi Umair, from Hisham b. Saalim, from Abi Abdullah(as) who said: "Whoever heard something of the reward upon a thing so performed it, he has of it(reward) even though it was not as upon what reached him."

  2. @Zidane: Salam,

No,I've not removed any post but I'm unsure of which hadith you're talking about because I didn't include any hadith which talks about accepting narrations from innovators, in fact I'm not aware of any such hadith in our books.

I'd instead made earlier another post about accepting ahadith from murji', qadari and kharji, if that's what you're looking for:

    Similar other ahadith here:

As for innovators(ahlul bid'ah), you can read this:

Hopefully one of the above will solve your problem.

    wassalam
