The 4 deputies of Imam Mahdi, an authority upon Shias?

Excerpt from Ayatullah Sistani's advanced Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) lecture on the conditions required for a place to be considered suitable for performing salah (Islamic ritual prayer), transcribed by Allama Murtada al Mohri (Kuwaiti Shia scholar)* and published (after review and correction by Ayatullah Sistani) on 02-April 2012 by the title of "Kitabus Salah, Makanul Musalli".

*Translator's note: Allama Murtada al Mohri attended bahth al kharij lectures of Ayatullah Sistani during his tenure at the hawzat of Najaf. Later, he also served as an expert panelist at Ayatullah Sistani's office in Qum, where he would issue answers for the religious queries addressed to Ayatullah Sistani by his muqallids (followers).

So if it is argued that even if the fatwa under discussion is from Hussain b. Roh al Nawbakhti himself individually, it is still authoritative because he was among the special four deputies of Imam al Mahdi during the minor occultation, then my response is that it is not like that. Hussain b. Roh al Nawbakhti was not an infallible therefore his individual fatwa has absolutely no authority.

He is the one who endorsed and reviewed Shamalghani's "Kitab al Taklif", with the intention of making it an official religious guide for the Shias. The scholars of Baghdad acknowledged the accuracy of the book and the scholars of Qum also did not find any faults with it except on two issues, and many of the Imami jurisprudential consensuses have their roots in that book. However, despite that, some of the scholars in that period, such as Shaikh Kulaini ignored that book and issued religious edicts independent of it, by their own judgement (based upon ahadith).

  1. Mr Bhooka, you can carry on with your pathetic attempts to cast down the authority of our leaders, and we'll keep ignoring you. Do you really think us shias are so stupid to fall for such attempts? Really? We are not like sunnis, who believe that their hadis books like bukhari, muslim are 100% sahih and then any tom, richard and harry can pick them up and start acting on them.

It is impossible to fool us shias because we as individuals (the lay people) are completely forbidden from reading hadis books. It is WAJI in our firqa to follow marjas and we only listen to them. So keep wasting your time with your idiotic attempts to fool us, we have marjas who guide us and protect us from the deviance spread by buffoons like you, and inshallah they'll always continue to guide us.

So think twice next time before making any future post to ridicule our leaders especially the naib e imams. Get this through your thick skull that in ghaibate sughra the 4 naibeen e khaas were our leaders, and now in ghaibat e kubra the naib e aam i.e. the marjas are our leaders. Us shias our shepherded by marjas who protect us from wolves (bhairiya) like you!

^^@anonymous: Are you insane?! who told you us shia laymen aren't allowed to read ahadith books? Infact ahadith books are easily available online as well as in book stores, and no scholar has forbiddedn us from using them.

Please stop worshipping these maraji, to the extent that you are even attributing things to them they never said.

  3. Bhooka is just a paid western agent, out there to undermine the authority of our leaders. As for those getting fooled into thinking that he's quoting ayatullah sistani, please use your BRAINS!

The above content is NOT found anywhere on ayatullah sistani's website. Just if someone writes "XYZ" (source: Ayatullah Sistani), that doesn't ACTUALLY mean it is from ayt sistani. People on facebook, twitter etc do it all the time. Please naive people, learn to actually VERIFY the sources from this liar bhooka. Sometimes i get so fed up, repeatedy having to come to this blog to comment and guide the brothers and sisters who are being led astray by this filthy nasibi yazidi pig bhooka.

    2. The funny thing is. Even a Website link was provided where you can read all that from Sayed Murtadha Muhri himself. He visited Baht Kharij lectures of Sayed Sistani himself.
So the source is confirmed. Of course only to those who bother to actually read... those who dont or cant read like Shoaib are clearly at a disadvantage.

    3. Can you yourself actually READ???????? I said this nonsense posted by najis pig bhooka is nowhere on AYATOLLAH SISTANI's website!

What difference does it make if this stuff is present on some complete nobody like "Sayed Murtadha Muhri"s website? His website has same zero credibility as bhooka's blog, as both are nobodies. I repeat, is this stuff on AYTOLLAH SISTANI's website?!

For once use your brains people, would a marja like Ayatullah Sistani EVER say such disrespectful things for the naib e imam? And secondly, ayatuallah seestani gives lectures on ISLAMIC LAWS, not on historical issues such as the khawarij sect (and this idiot bhooka even spelt it wrong, calling it 'kharij' instead of khawarij!). This should tell you people how untruthful and ignornt people like bhooka are. PLEASE people stop being fooled by this pig bhooka just by his trick of using names of big scholars to fool you guys. Before, he only used to attribute things to ancient non-existent 'scholars' so that noone could cross check his claims. But seeing how gullible you lot are, he has now moved to attributing lies to even the great living scholars now. Please wake up guys before its too late!

    4. Calm down bro, you are clearly so angry that you are misreading what the brother had written or you are to ignorant to understand it.

This has nothing to do with the 'khawarij' cult - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khawarij

'al-Bahth al-Kharij' is an advanced class taught in the Hawza.

My guess is that you are too ignorant to understand what is being said, and you are just trying to find wholes where there are none.

  5. Brother bhooka bhairiya, can you tell me your email id so i can contact you? Also i wanna request you to please write a detailed blog on nad e ali, as it has been mentioned in so many ahadith, in bihar ul anwar, misbah al kafami etc, but i guess it goes against your beliefs. Also could you comment on what the beliefs of akhbari scholars was on this type of tawassul? Have shk saduq etc denounced dua tawassul?

    1. Salam brother Meesam,

      1. My email is: bhooka_bhairiya@hotmail.com.
      2. Nade_Ali is not mentioned in even a single hadith, it is only mentioned as a poem in latter books. The earliest source for it is Shaikh al Kaf'ami (d. 905 AH), who quoted in his book "Misbah" that he saw a handwritten note from Shahid al Awwal saying that this poem (i.e. nade ali) should be recited for difficulties. The latter scholars who quoted it from Kaf'ami (such as Allama Majlisi, Muhdith Noori and Ayt Ali Namazi Shahroodi) also made it clear that it is only a poem, not a hadith.
      3. Akhbari scholars, like usooli scholars are not a homogenous group, and thus had different views. The strict akhbaris like Shaikh Hurr al Amili believed in doing tawassul only as per what's mentioned in ahadith from reliable books like kutub al arba (hence no nade ali, dua tawassul etc for him).
      4. Dua Tawassul didnt exist in the times of classical scholars ike Shaikh Kulaini, saduq, Mufid etc etc..........

    2. as-salamu alaykum brother Bhooka_bhairiya. what is the opinion on the tawassul (like "ya Ali Madad", "o Ali gave me a son" etc.) scholars of hadith?

    3. Very surprised to see this retard come out of ghaybah to answer a comment lol! Or maybe it is that he only obliges to reply to those who are in line with him and agree with his thoughts, while preferring to stay in ghaybah when presented with irrefutable arguments from critics like shoaib, shazia etc. Good going COWARD bhooka...

  9. Salam bhooka,

I just wanted to drop by and say thank you to you for your service to shia students. I really appreciate it. Please dont get discouraged by these haters and stop writing. Many of us really look forward to your posts and find them very informative, it's just that the handful of haters are loud whereas sincere learners like us are just quiet readers, which may give you the impression that everyone hates you. Please continue writing, most shia students of knowledge like me, really love your posts. Thanks again brother bhooka.
