Which groups are outside the fold of Islam?

Man la yahdhuruhul faqih

.

Prophet(PBUH) said (2 types of people in my ummah have no part in Islam, the Nasibis who wage war against ahlul bayt and those who do ghulu in religion.)

(Shaikh Sadooq says) Also those who consider it halal to send la'an on Amirul momineen(as) and wage war against muslims and kill them, doing nikah with them is haram since they destroyed themselves with their own hands. The ignorant people think that every mukhalif(aami/sunni) is a nasibi even though that's not the case."

  1. Great find mashaa Allaah, would you mind posting the direct citations though instead of just which book it is from? I would like to show friends this as well but I need to know which volume, hadeeth number, etc. Thank you.

  2. This hadeeth is mursal, no chain of narrators.

Brother, the last part is NOT considered part of the hadeeth, but it is Al-Sadooq's commentary. If you notice the parenthesis around the actual hadeeth, which is:

    Source: http://al-shia.org/html/ara/books/?mod=hadith&start=100&end=200

So the last is actually Al-Sadooq's commentary. It is classical scholars opinion, so it holds a lot of weight.

    So this is Al-Sadooq's commentary:
"And whoever deems lawful the la`nah of Ameer Al-Mu'mineen, peace be upon him, and wages war upon the Muslims and kills them, doing nikaaH with them is haraam since they destroyed themselves with their own hands. The jaahil (ignorant) imagine (think) that every mukhaalif (opposer, i.e. sunnis) is a naasibee, and it is not that.

  3. @bi_ithnillaah: Thanks for appreciation sister. Bro Nader has already given the ref, the link is here(for al faqih I always take it from al-shia.org):
    http://www.al-shia.org/html/ara/books/lib-hadis/faqih-3/a137.htm

@Nader Zaveri: Bro, thanks for visiting the blog! Bro, I did have some doubt about last part but the thing is that when Shaikh Sadooq's comment is listed, usually it's explicitly stated. For example, in the hadith right before this (i.e. hadith# 4424) you have pretty much the same thing but explicitly stated that it's from Shaikh Sadooq:

  4. Yes, that is true. Majority of the time it says "The compiler of this book says:...". But if you go through Al-Faqeeh, he doesn't always put that when he does a commentary or expounds on a hadeeth.

And I just checked my personal copy of Al-faqeeh, and it doesn't mention thats part of the hadeeth.

So the best thing to do is to make sure you say that the last part is actually Sadooq's words and not the words of our Imaams (AS).

  5. @Nader: OK, I've edited my post and in the translation I've put the parentheses as they're in the arabic text. Should've done that initially, would be careful next time.

  7. Thank you Bhooka:

Could you put in the blog post before that last part: "Al-Sadooq's said:"

  8. @Nader: Well bro, since that's not included in the arabic text I referred to from here:
    http://www.al-shia.org/html/ara/books/lib-hadis/faqih-3/a137.htm

That's why I'll put that in parentheses.
