Benefits of wudhu(ablution)

Wasail al shia

Section on the recommendation for the wudhu (ablution) for fulfillment of the wish, and dislike of abandoning it (wudhu) when seeking in it (a need)

Muhammad b. al Hasan with his isnad (chains of narration) from Muhammad b. Ali b. Mahboob, from al Abbas, from Su'daan, from Abdullah b. Sinan, from abi Abdullah (as) who said: I (narrator) heard him (as) say: "Whoever seeked a wish and he was not upon (state of) wudhu (ablution), then did (could) not fulfill it, so should not chastise but himself."

Muhammad b. Ali b. al Hussain said: Said al Sadiq (as), and he (as) mentioned similar to it (the previous hadith).

Said (the narrator): And said al Sadiq (as): Indeed I am surprised for the one who takes in (strives for) a wish, and he is upon (in state of) wudhu (ablution), how he does not fulfill his wish.

Man la yahdhuruhul faqih

And said al Sadiq(as): "The momin (believer) is a supplicant as long as is upon (in state of) wudhu."
