وقال عليه السلام: إن للقلوب إقبالا وإدبارا فإذا أقبلت فاحملوها على النوافل، وإذا أدبرت فاقتصروا بها على الفرائض
And (Ali)
said: "Verily the hearts become inclined and/as well as turned/uninterested. So when they're inclined then take upon the nawafil (extra mustahab acts). And when they're disinterested then suffice upon the obligatory acts."
